Greg was born and raised in Great Falls, MT. After his graduation from Great Falls Central Catholic High School, Greg attended Carroll College in Helena Montana (inducted to CC Football Hall of Fame in 2002) and then Gonzaga University School of Law in Spokane WA. Upon receiving his J.D. and admission to the Montana State Bar (1980), Greg was a Law Clerk for the Montana Supreme Court (Justice Gene B. Daly) then joined (1981) the firm of Cure, Borer and Davis, now known as Davis, Hatley, Haffeman & Tighe P.C.
Greg’s practice has primarily focused on commercial transactional matters and associated civil litigation, including appellate litigation, with a particular emphasis in real estate, oil and gas, liquor and gaming, business formation and governance, sale and purchase of business operations, probate and estate planning, employment and federal labor law and religious entities (specifically as Outside General Counsel for the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings).
Greg also served on the Gift of Life Foundation, was President of the Benefis Healthcare Foundation and member of the Benefis Healthcare System Board of Directors for twelve years.
